I've been waiting for you to get your hands on both of these!!
I got the HB80c as my first light a couple of months ago! Awesome!!
I then ended up getting the FS300C about a month ago, and I love it! I ended up getting 2 for the studio.
I'll keep the HB80c for on-the-go projects or as rim light. But I feel like I am set for many years.

Upgrading all my amaran bi color lights to rgb this week. After some research into what neewers been up to i decided to switch brands as well. I think neewer lights are pretty much 99 percent there, plenty good enough for me. And at half the price of the amarans.

Thanks for the great video. Love your reviews. Regarding the FS300C vs CB300C other than the metal casing, better yoke, and power brick, would you say the output of these lights is pretty identical? Would love to see a more detailed comparison and which you regard as the winner.

I picked up a 60 watt newer color light and I was not impressed by the brightness compared to a godox 60 watt bicolor. So I said maybe that's my fault and I ended up buying the 130 watt model. I am using it as my key but it is nowhere near as bright as my 60 watt Godox Still... Is this going to be across all RGB lights? Do I actually need to buy a 300?

If anyone needs this info - the lumens ratings on these from neewer are likely false. The fs300c light is half a stop darker than the amaran 200x - The 80c at full power is slightly less output than a amaran 60x. According to neewer the lights should be much brighter but its actually a good amount darker. If output matters to your work i would steer clear of these lights. Im gonna be keeping them (i bought both) as they are very affordable, give me rgb, and high output isnt terribly important to my work. Although as i film more narrative lighting, i do find myself constantly needing more power to break thru book lighting.

Tests were done at 18ft and 10ft distance. 5600k full power and using the same reflectors.

Too pricy. Better to go with the Ulanzi VL 120c bi/Rgb. Only $86, bowens mount, 150w, light and portable, vmount compatible, single power connector without a huge brick
