I would take a wild guess that the issue most likely bad pulleys or the belt wearing down. Try to flush the oil, and open the cvt oil pan, should be a kind of magnet in there and check if the magnet caught any metal flakes, if so then the pulleys and belt are most likely giving up

Another thing to check is whether the triptonic (manual mode) shown any abnormalities, if so you could check the sensors and valves body

Done heaps..ive replaced brand new valve body and sent to nissan for valvebody calibration. Valvebodys cost me $1700+gst from ATP and just under $200 for calibration.

I just got my 2024 xtrail. It dose the same thing but at lower speeds
