Born in Boston in 1960, I was amazed at the empire state bldg, I always thought of NY as Boston's big brother, we had relatives in Manhatten and we visited when I was 5 in 1965, I remember seeing a lot of burnt cars along the streets, for some reason that's what I remember. The empire is more than a bldg to me, for a reason I don't even know.
