Yay! I finally sang this song perfectly! It took me 3 times to get the tempo right. I sang this duet with you in honor of my church choir member friend, Jackie, who passed away 2-3 weeks ago of cancer. She is 43-years-old, who looks like she’s in her 20’s. She’s one of the best sopranos in our church choir, & she & another soprano sang with us altos 2 years ago during the Easter season. I had to see her funeral mass on my church’s website today. I’m still in shock & in denial that Jackie’s passed away. I haven’t seen her since the Covid 19 lockdown started back in March. I’m sure Jackie would be proud that I nailed this song with you. The next time I audition for The Voice, or perform solo in public, she’ll be cheering me on in spirit. RIP Jackie 🙏😪
