Agreed. There are just some connections that only time can heal. If that person really truly wants you in their life, they will move mountains to be with you. If your paths cross and it's a beautiful moment to just say, "Hey, it's great seeing you." Then let it be that and move on. Or see what God has in store for you two and walk through life together.

It's not shocking that a man can make a genuine mistake. It's just not the first thing that women will assume because of the culture we live in. But, life is too short to spend on a part of it on reopening closed chapters, especially if the separation was disrespectful. If you had a close connection once with one man out of the four billion on this planet, you can form another one out of that four billion. Keep moving forward. If he truly means to make things right then he would apologize with no strings attached. But there is nothing for a man to gain in that.
