Dog's are 100% better than Cat's. this is coming from a person who has owned many cats in the past and currently has one. Dog's don't scratch and bite you for literally no reason when all your doing is petting them. Dog's are less likely to give people allergies. Dog's aren't normally scared of water. and won't scratch you open when they need a bath. Dog's don't need gross litter tray's. Dog's will usually eat what you give them. Dog's are loyal and protective. Dog's are cleaner. Dog's sniff out cancer and bombs. Dog's don't climb and shred your curtain's. Dog's are almost always happy to see you and greet you when you get home. Dog's don't give people Toxoplasmosis. Did you know Cat's will lay on a baby's face and suffocate them and that it's not safe for a pregnant woman to clean a litter tray as it could be harmful to the pregnancy? Don't get me wrong i have a cat that i love and have surprisingly bonded with but i'm #100%Team Dog .

Not trying to be mean but most of these are stereotypes of cats, not truly how cats act. I do agree some of the points like with children and dogs being very nice with them, but often times cats have been seen to be nice with children. Also many cats love to snuggle too, and are social. Not just that, but most dogs don’t attack for owners due to their sizes and only do if they are aggressive.
