Descending from the top of the Montissot chairlift to the bottom of the Grand Plateau draglift. The Grand Plateau is a technical (Poma) draglift not suitable for beginners and is part of one of the connections with the Valmeinier area of the resort. It will be replaced by a chairlift in the near future.
Ski resort Galibier-Thabor (Valmeinier & Valloire) offers 160 km of groomed slopes at altitudes from 1.430 to 2.750 m (4.700 to 9.000 ft).
Pleasant weather but meager snow coverage during this mild and very dry winter in the French Alps.
