Fresh from the showcase here at SwissWatchExpo. Think about 1924 in Paris. Imagine yourself at a sidewalk cafe you're relaxing and enjoying your time with your good friends. People who are high in mighty and French society like Louis Cartier, Louis Cartier, as we've discussed was an absolute genius of the watch and jewelry world he had already at this point in 1924, invented the use of platinum and jewelry, the Garland style. He had spearheaded the art deco movement. The first modern rest watch all sorts of things that had were real advancements in the watch and jewelry world. He had already patented the invisible set diamond, but at that point, he was really involved in the Paris society. And one of his good friends was the poet and playwright. Jean Cocteau in 1924, cocktail one at a personal party, Cartier gift that he could give his friends and family.

And what Cartier invented for him, you might have heard called a rolling ring. It's actually called a Trinity ring. Trinity is a, a word that means three in one. I'm actually wearing mine here this morning and you can see the three rings are separate. They do intertwine they're inseparable and they roll over each other. As the ring is moved up and down the finger. So the idea behind the ring was that the white ring they're all 18 karat gold 18 carat of course is 75% gold. The color is influenced by what the other 25% is, but the white ring symbolizes friendship. The yellow ring symbolizes fidelity in the pink gold ring symbolizes love. So love, friendship and fidelity. What he said were the three inseparable ingredients and any great relationship. Jean Cocteau wore two of these stacked up on his pinky and it became his personal Cartier gift for years.

You couldn't buy it. The only way you could get one was to be gifted one from Jean Cocteau, but eventually Cartier did make it into the big pillar of the jewelry world, at the house of Cartier they've made all sorts of things in the Trinity series, rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, but eventually it made it to the watch world of Cartier. And that's what we're here to talk about this morning, on our website at the top where it says search 2000 plus watches, you can just type in the word Trinity and see what we have in stock at the moment. Right now we have these two, which are quite interesting. They're beautiful watches. You can see how they're reflective of the Trinity ring. The bezel of the watch. It's really the entire case is integrated into, it's not a separate bezel, but it's Rose gold, white golden, yellow, gold intertwined, kind of in a swirl pattern.

They're a good size for women there. They're about 27 million meters and they made a lot different configurations of this watch over the years. This one I think is really pretty. It has just the swish of the, just the white gold as in poverty diamonds. And it's just a little whimsy, a little fun bit of diamonds. It's different from a full diamond bezel that you see on so many wines, different from a diamond dial. And of course we've talked about before the Cartier is phenomenal. They use only VVS quality diamonds, and they do things with their pave that other companies don't do. There's not much negative space between the diamonds. They use the biggest ones that'll fit in each space. They align the tables of the diamonds together so that they sparkled together, though. It's really gorgeous. The dial on this one is an ivory.

all the Cartier dials that are guilloche or hand engraved. The crowns on Cartier diamond watches are set with another diamond, a beautiful touch, a nice attention to detail that they do this one because it's a dressier watch it doesn't have the traditional blued steel hands we see on most Carnegie watches. These are 18 carat gold hands. A nice feature of these is that they do have the Sapphire crystal. That's extremely scratch resistant they're watertight, which is an unusual feature for a lady's dressier watch, but it makes it more practical to wear day to day.
