Handel's Rinaldo: the live recording

It is with great pleasure that Accademia Bizantina - Ottavio Dantone and HDB Divisione Eventi announce the first release of new record label HDB SONUS: a new adventure that goes against the flow of this historical moment, a project that means to distribute and to take our music directly to our audience.

This project began from the need to have a wider and more direct control in the diffusion and promotion of our repertoire, and to listen more closely to the demand of classical music lovers in general.

We are very happy to be able to inaugurate this new journey with Händel's Rinaldo, which we recorded live in the 2018/2019 season in the theatres of Opera Lombardia.
"Rinaldo" is a very well-known and loved opera in the repertoire and we hope it will receive the appreciation it deserves.
