Doctor Strange would've been really high on my list after seeing the trailer at the end of NWH, but I'm also very cautious after the recent cameo rumours. Fingers crossed. Great list!

I totally forgot Disappointment Blvd was coming out this year. Love Ari’s work and seeing Midsommar in Boston at 1am was the best theater experience I’ve had to date. Didn’t know about the whale or Marty’s film dropping this year. What a year it’s gonna be.

'The batman' is going to be one of the best films of the decade. Matt Reeves is easily one of the top 10 filmmakers working today and this is right up his alley, he makes hypnotic dramatic cinema, can't wait. Awesome list BTW, these are now pretty much my most anticipated films for the most part.

Can't wait for the Northman! I think Mr. Eggers has to expand his filmography before I officially go and say something crazy like "He is my favorite filmmaker ever", but I just might say that this April.

I will bet exactly $1 Avatar 2 will not be released this year.

Excellent list Sydney!! It sounds like there are so many awesome movies coming out this year of all kinds. My number 1 most anticipated is also Batman by a mile😁 But there are so many to look forward to, and your list had a couple I hadn’t heard of so I will look into those.

Some of my other most anticipated films include:

Nope (new Jordan Peele film. Loved Get Out, liked Us but didn't love.)
The Fablemans (You cannot go wrong with Steven Spielberg! With his directing plus a coming-of-age story, sign me up. Also fascinated as this is his first screenwriting credit in a while)
Pinocchio (mostly because it's Guillermo del Toro!)
Knives Out 2 (I'm in the same camp as you with sequels. Fingers crossed that it hits with a bang)

I’m also really looking forward to Batman. It looks like it will genuinely be a great movie and has a great cast. Really hope it doesn’t disappoint me because it looks so promising.

I also want to see Disappointment Blvd., Killers of the Flower Moon, Babylon, and The Northman they all look sick.

Haven’t heard about The Whale but it sounds hilarious yet sad and Ethan Hawk rules so I’ll need to check out The Black Phone.

The Batman is mine too!!!! Looks fucking sick! The best live action Batman so far it looks like hopefully. Also Paul Dano is a fucking LEGEND so super hyped for him as the main villain. I also really like that they are using REAL sets and not just green screen all the time.

Also: my most anticipated films are Killers of the Flower Moon, the Baz Luhrmann film about Elvis Presley, Nitram, You Won’t Be Alone, The Northman, Peter Pan & Wendy, The Fabelmans, the new Jurassic World movie, Women Talking, Disenchanted, Poor Things, Babylon, Blonde — and hopefully before the year is out — The Way of the Wind.
