If the valve core of the excavator gets stuck, it is possible that the working devices (such as the bucket, boom, etc.) will keep rotating on their own and cannot be stopped. Because the stuck valve core will cause the flow direction of the hydraulic oil to be out of normal control, making the corresponding hydraulic cylinders keep operating continuously, thus resulting in the uncontrolled running of the components. However, excavators usually also have safety protection mechanisms and emergency stop devices to reduce such risks and prevent a completely out-of-control situation !

I'm a Union Operator. Just the top of those tracks comes up to about mid chest level on most people for one about that size. The bottom of the seat is above most people's heads. That's a hell of a jump into the cab. Most couldn't jump in it. The only thing i could see him doing is either jumping and tapping that left control stick to get it to stop sticking. Or jumping and grabbing the grab handles and immediate lifting your legs so they don't get taken off as the cab spins over the tracks. Then pulling yourself up into the cab the rest of the way. Either way, all of it could be a life ending situation.

I'm not going near it in that state it's in. Not risking my life. Put tape around it and have a laborer stand near it to direct anybody away from it for the day and let it run out of fuel. That's what my call would be. Might take two days if it's a full tank so you might need a few laboreres around the clock. That will be cheaper than someone dying though.
