Hey friends! Today, I am starting my eyeshadow palette collection declutter. I was unsuccessful last time, but enough is enough. My collection is out of control and eyeshadow palettes are a major culprit! Help me with this one friends! Thanks for hanging out with me!

I think you are doing a good job with downsizing to what you absolutely connect and see yourself using in your collection. I hope it will start to make you feel empowered. It takes both time and effort as well some courage.
I think we all have a tendency to fall in and out of admiration with our beauty products. The clearing of makeup is similarly to spring cleaning the sweaters, tops, pants, dresses, shoes, etc. We have to feel good internally with the changes. It is always part of the process.
***It opens up our beauty space and brings new inspiration.*** In a way, it also helps declutter the mind to be reminded or making more space to accommodate.

If we have the colors, which we all do, because there are only so many colors (plus finishes) out there. Do I need it? What new purpose is it giving to my collection? For me, I need to feel encaptured by it. Not just because it is in pretty packaging, trendy, influential engagement but it ***simply moves me*** and represent ***who I am.***

I find myself getting excitement more in self-customization of quads and palettes. It plays with my inner creative mind. I think most brands should have singles from their eyes and cheeks to customize. Plus available empty palettes. I created a few from brands but then they stopped having singles available to purchase. I wished I had got them at the time.

Guilt is only self-awareness. We are learning in the process what fits for us. It is easy to feel this way when we have consume in abundance. But as we grow, our vision for ourselves do as well.

I was probably the only one on the fence about Mellow Grove from Lethal and I remember almost getting it right after you.

I never got it because I don't like their new format that doesn't work with their singles. I didn't think it would last this long in your collection though 😂

I have maybe 30 palettes at most, and The Dollhouse is one of my favorites. But I get why it doesn't stand up compared to everything else you have. That nomad Oslo palette looks so good but has no sparkly shimmers so it's still a pass for me 😊
