Example or Elliot John Gleave (20 June 1982, London), better known by his stage name Example, is an English singer and rapper signed to Data Records. His name arose due to his initials being e.g. which is a common abbreviation for the Latin phrase "exempli gratia", which means "for example".
Example's 3rd album Playing In The Shadows is scheduled for release on 4 September 2011.
"Last Ones Standing" is a song by British rapper Example. This is the fourth single from Example's second album, Won't Go Quietly. The song was available to download on 12 September 2010, with a physical single release on 13 September 2010. Production was handled by Bjorn Yttling of Swedish rock band, Peter Bjorn and John.
