My understanding was CRS never sold these. He advertised for the company. This is far worse.

Before Matt accepted the advertising, he contacted his local ATF office and asked if there was any issue with the cards and was told no.

According to John Crump and CRS, the ATF admitted that they hadnt found one that had been successfully converted, and one of their witnesses, a machinst who tried to make one, testified that he couldn't get it to work as is just cutting it out. The ATF demonstration involved making other modifications to the rifle to get it to work.

The fed prosecutor tried to submit a jury instructions stating that it didnt matter if the design worked as intended, just that they intended to make a machinegun.

During cross-examination the ATF agent said they hadnt recovered a significant number of cards and they werent going to because the ATF bosses deemed them not to be a threat. Matt's lawyer asked them if they were full auto-AKs would they have continued hunting down each one? The ATF agent said yes just before the Fed prosecutor objected to the question.

If true, it shows the ATF wasnt even concerned about the Autokeycard. This is about collecting scalps and generating metrics for ambitious ATF bosses.

Yeah, I’m absolutely sickened by this. That jury needs to rot in hell, and so does the judge and the tyrannical prosecutor. This was not only a Second Amendment issue it’s absolutely at its heart a 1st amendment issue. This is just so sickening.

The prosecution even had their own witnesses admit they could not cut it out and make it work. Plus, there was no proof anyone has ever done so.

Jeez iv been watching his channel. He seemed so sure that his lawyers totally dismantled the governments charges and made them look foolish.

Maybe we should protest it at our local atf offices with large signs with links drawn on them. Really this is nauseating, in my opinion Matt is nothing more than a political prisoner, what a kangaroo court.

The card was 25% undersized making the link non-functioning even if it was cut out. The ATF had to use *modified* ammunition to get the rifles to fire under "hammer follow" conditions because they couldn't get the rifles to function with the link installed. That being said the ATF also stated the link worked in *all* the rifles they put it in, except this is a mechanical *impossibility* the link can only function when installed in a rifle with a specific bolt carrier, and a specific milling pattern. Again, the card was made 25% undersized so it wouldn't even work in the original firearms they were designed for. They modified the primers of the bullets to allow them to be set off by hammer follow, which would have turned almost *ANY* AR rifle into a machine gun, even with the no link installed. the link did almost nothing... except for maybe them jamming it against the sear so the hammer follow would be guaranteed each cycle. You could drop a skittle in your lower receiver and have that happen, but the gun won't go full auto with normal ammunition.

That is so messed up! Matt said that his case was going EXTREMELY well. I had a feeling that the ATF had something up their sleeve. What that was, I don't know, but it sure ain't right.🤦‍♂️ That poor guys family.

Inner cities are full of glock switches and they are worried about this. The AFT tried to use one of the cards to make a fully auto rifle and all the gun did was malfunction.
