Sonia: I Am From

"I am from learning to skate with a stool in a pond."

Youth filmmaker, Sonia explores the moments and values that she holds dear in her meditative visual poem.

This film was created in the Filmmaking high school program at the Cortes Island Academy. Reel Youth created curriculum to meet the grade 9-11 BC Media Studies guidelines, and facilitated it over a month, on Cortes, in an innovative, untraditional and out-of-the-box high school program.
