Everyone is seeing Olympics & Paralympics performance, but NO ONE is seeing how many medals we brought in OLYMPIADS:

1) India got their all-time high rank this year in IMO (International Maths Olympiad) : #4 - getting 2 gold & 1 silver medal. Until this yr, we had been very low in the rankings.

2) We got 1 gold & 4 silver medals in IOAA (International Olympiad for Astronomy & Astrophysics)

3) Similar medals in International Chemistry Olympiad & International Physics Olympiad.

Everyone cares about the sports, but no one cares about the academics equivalent. Our gifted students r getting no recognition, even for solving the toughest problems imaginable, even tougher than JEE

We've been told by our parents that only studies is what's imp, but when the Olympiad medals come, no one cares. (Cuz Olympiad is basically Olympics for studies)

No news agency interviewed the Olympiad medallists, no tv channel covered it. All cared for the sports.

No prize money for Olympiad, but tens of lakhs of rupees for Olympics. How unjust.
