Gui Malheiros: Brazil's Fittest Man, 2021 NOBULL CrossFit Games

Se houvesse alguma dúvida de que o Gui Malheiros 🇧🇷 merecia estar nos 2021 NOBULL CrossFit Games, a sua performance na competição demonstrou o contrário.

Malheiros fez história como o primeiro brasileiro a ganhar uma prova nos Games e não só ganhou uma — ganhou três.

O tricampeão nacional e três-vezes atleta dos Games foi o homem mais novo na categoria individual e ganhou o prêmio de atleta “Most Improved,” melhorando do 48º lugar em 2019 a sétimo em 2021.

Numa conferência de imprensa, Malheiros teve uma mensagem para todos os duvidosos.

“Estou aqui para provar que todos aqui são humanos — também sou — então se eles podem, eu também posso. … A pressão é um privilégio, então estou aqui e estou pronto para provar a mim mesmo. … Eu tenho lugar aqui.”

Malheiros é o sétimo homem mais condicionado do mundo.

If there was any doubt that Gui Malheiros deserved to be at the 2021 NOBULL CrossFit Games, his performance in the competition silenced the noise.

Malheiros made history as the first Brazilian to win a Games event, and he didn’t win just one — he won three.

The three-time national champion and three-time Games athlete was the youngest male individual competitor and won the award for “Most Improved,” moving from 48th place in 2019 to seventh in 2021.

In a press conference, Malheiros had a message for all who doubted him.

“I’m just here to prove that everyone here is human — I'm a human also — so if they can do (it), I can do it. … The pressure is a privilege, so I’m here and I’m ready to prove myself. … I belong here.”

Malheiros is the seventh-fittest man in the world.
