So why is the Delay Llama Xtreme the ultimate Analog Delay?
It's got tap tempo and subdivisions. It's got four user presets that you can easily save to and recall. It's got expression control and control voltage. It's got trails/buffered or true bypass signal chain. You can tap and hold the tap switch to make the pedal self-oscillate. It's all analog featuring bucket brigade chips with up to 800ms of delay time. It's got four different and wildly creative modulation modes. You can make it do tape delay flutter! You can make it work like a vibrato or chorus! It's insane! It's, well... xtreme.
It's got four Xtreme modes which push the analog delay sound even further by tweaking the modulation into vibrato, tape delay, random and pitch shifting possibilities.
Today I'm featuring it with my Benson Vincent and my Prisma Sunset featuring Lollar Pickups gold foils. The Delay Llama is in the effects loop of the Vincent. I am also co-featuring the Jam Pedal Rattler to bring a little (ok, a lot) of distortion into the mix.
