I feel like people forget the people, alive and dead, who made an unfathomable sacrifice for this country. Instead of listening to the lessons of WWII, some would rather listen to a disrespectful, convict, and failure. These men, alive and deceased, are not losers and suckers, they are brave heroes that basically walked into a firing squad to defend our way of life. A bravery that will never visit people that try to tear them, us, and our country down for the sake of ONE PERSON. Please remember!

The servicemen and women of this period and those who fought for our freedom were heroes. They inspired me to serve as well. Anyone who is proud to say they are a draft dodger and call our fallen war heroes losers should have never been a president and shouldn't ever be president again. He would have the right to command our troops again and he has never walked in their shoes or doesn't respect the men and women currently walking in those shoes.

My grandfather was assigned to the 2nd Ranger Battalion at Pointe du Hoc on D-Day. It was his fifth amphibious landing of the war having landed in North Africa, Sicily, Salerno, and Anzio before being sent to England to lend his experience in combat to Operation Overlord. Of the men in his squad, only 4 survived the day. My father and I visited there last year, and those cliffs are something to behold. The sheer amount of guts that it took to scale those cliffs in the face of unrelenting machine gun fire is something I can't even fathom. Thank President Biden for a wonderful tribute and an excellent speech.
