As far as I can remember, this is the first Trio Mandili video in which all of Tako, Tatuli and Mari are playing Panduri. It sounds lovely and there is amazing co-ordination between the three of them. I love how they're always upgrading their skillset and raising their standards.

Like many other Georgian idioms, this expression is hard to understand for foreign readers. The point is that for Georgian men the greatest honour was to die for the Motherland, while her sister was proud to mourn a heroe who had fallen in battle.... So this grim idiom is an expression of the highest esteem. The tragic history riflected in language...
