Don't care what anyone says. The GoW trailer with Gary Jules mad world playing was a trailer that made a PS hardcore fan boy go out and buy a 360 for, is the best trailer I've ever seen.

Is nobody gonna mention Battlefield 1's banger of a trailer??? In a time where Call of Duty saw its' biggest trailer disappointment at the time, and here came Battlefield, ready to place you in one of the most visceral war games of all time. 71 million views, and over 2.5 million likes as of Dec 2023. Battlefield 1's trailer was as hype as it gets in FPS shooters.

Kingdom Hearts - Watching Disney Crossover with Square Enix blew my mind. That was a Crossover I never thought was possible, & hearing Simple & Clean playing in the background was the cherry on top. 🎮🙆🏿‍♂️

Halo had some truly great trailers, and before most of the other games on this list. The fact that Gears is also a Microsoft product probably says a lot. After the flubs and duds of recent years, it's easy to forget what a media juggernaut Halo was in its prime, and the trailers are just one illustration of that dominance.

Halo 3's reveal trailer should have been on this list. The slow buildup to the piano cues to the crescendo of the theme with that epic view. It was the definition of HYPE!
I know it doesn't really count but Sephiroth's reveal for Smash Ultimate deserves a mention too

I'd argue that the TOTK trailer is better than BOTW, the music is everything, how it crescendos into the main theme for Zelda is incredible.
