Giving us instructions for something we are trying to avoid doing, great. I already know how to multitask cooking while fanning the smoke detector. I want an answer on why they are so sensitive and maybe how to fix it. I can't even take a shower without all of them in the house going off.

In my case that was not helpful at all. I live in a motel and Everytime I cook ramen noodles the stupid thing goes off without me burning anything it's just hot water for Pete's sake 😡

This did not help me what so ever.Its 3:45 AM And its the fourth time I wake up due to false alarms.There are 4 in total and it keeps waking me up every !@#$%$ 5 minutes and the *Beep-Beep-Beep* Lasts about 10 minutes.

go to the dollar store and purchase a shower cap...place over alarm when cooking..problem solved
