SHOULD I BUY THE RAREST VINTAGE TOY AT THE TOY SHOW?

I traveled 600 miles, round trip to do some vintage toy hunting at an amazing toy show called Toyhio! I had heard this was a great show, but the distance kept me from ever attending. I had to see it for myself! I can’t believe some of the crazy, rare pieces I was able to track down. Vintage toys I had never seen in person…even pieces I didn’t know existed! If you’re a fan of vintage or modern toys and pop culture collectibles - I highly recommend this toy show!

I think it’s cool how you generally buy whatever someone else thinks you might be interested in. Very smart, even if you aren’t super into it, because they may set something really good aside for you some day. All about building the relationship.

That 'Alien Pops' head container brings back so many memories. I grew up in a small town in Iowa (less than 500 population) as a kid, and our gas station had those suckers sitting next to the register for sale. I always loved the container and wanted it.

Froggy/Anthony, you inspired me to go through all of my old stuff from my storage unit and so far im up around $40k! Never realized i had such gems of collectibles. I have ocd so as a kid id very carefully play with my toys and mostly just set them up in poses on a shelf. Now ive got lego sets and bionicles etc worth like $4000-$6, 000 each. And boxed versions of the pokemon games still cus me and my bro would each get one like once a year, i played mine but he was older and out grew them. So now ive got a mint condition leaf green, around $4, 000 if graded. Thank you for the inspiration i can genuinely fix my life and get started as an art dealer now which was my dream job.

Froggy I love your content, but I do miss when you would do garage sales and estate sales and finding random things to sell not just toys. It was fun to see your finds. I do understand you have moved on to greener pastures for easier income. And you love the toy business. But your random finds and price comps were always so rewarding. Thank you for getting me into flipping myself!

You are a celebrity now and so good spirited about every interaction. It’s interesting to see so many of the vendors have stuff picked out for you already and how often they get those right!
