Welcome to an unboxing of an exciting new release from Diamond Art Club, as part of their new licensing with Disney: "Hail to the Pumpkin King!" We're getting an official Nightmare Before Christmas release, and this kit is stunningly epic! I'm still just SO excited about Disney being at DAC, and can't wait to see what else is to come!

This kit is part of a special mid-week release happening on Wednesday, October 9th at 9am Pacific / 12pm Eastern Time. There's just one general release time for everyone (and no early access window for Diamond/Ruby members).

I had a feeling that NBC was coming after the Disney announcement. Disney has joint ownership with Tim Burton for NBC, so we can get some good licensing images. Hopefully we get more during Christmas time, too. Nightmare is one of my favorite Xmas movies. Bummer about the Treasure Cards, though. That would be an amazing collector's item.

My one wish for DAC is that they go back to unperforated covers. The new ones tear where I don't want them to tear and don't where I do. I'm learning to live with the new pens even though they're really too thick for my tiny hands. I hope they will make them in different colors because I color-code my pens to easily spot the several different placers I use. I do love the quality of the canvases and drills from DAC and when there's a rare, glueless area, I grab a glue stick. I will look forward to the Disney releases.
