I have a power chain on top (sadly they only have clear) and single ties on the bottom (purple). I personally hate power chains bc they hurt 😭

So, so first, the single tie. I had single ties for the first 3 months and the ortho doc only putted the simgle ties on the front 4 teeths(up and down) and the rest were covered with figure 8. Now, then this month(April)i got new ones, which is the power chains. But, for some reason he only putted those on my lower teeth. Idk why he didn't on the upper teeth. But, whatever, i might get it the next time. I usually always get every colour silver. I love that colour

Today morning I got wire ties and now its almost night and it hurts for sure. before wire ties I had single bands.
According to me both hurts its just about which one hurts the most. if you wanna get that preety smile its obvious that you have to ensure that pain if you get braces but if in that procedure you don't want you're stained bands to be the centre of attention you should go for wire bands. But before that if you wanna get bands go for grey or dark blue it might get a little bit of yellowish but it won't be that visible .

I lucky take pain meds for pain conditions I have. When I go into my appointments I happily watch the Disney movies and not flinch. I have the those wires twisted in and felt nothing. So I guess that’s why she said “you have a high pain tolerance” I was just into the Toy Story tbh 😂
