As someone who was running an SKS as a placeholder for a bolt action for about a year when I started playing in Season 16, the fact that the SKS got this kind of a buff is absolutely awesome for me, except that now I have to re-learn the muscle memory for shot cadence, side to side hold for running targets, and how to ride the recoil from heart to head, which was a particularly effective method in the medium to longer end of close range. Despite the aggravation of having to re-learn a weapon I was already pretty handy with, I am stoked to pick the SKS up again with these new numbers. I've been concentrating hard on forcing myself into close combat scenarios the last four or so seasons now, to improve my close in fighting abilities, but I reckon its time to go back to my forté and crack some god damned helmets with the SKS 😈

I've always loved DMRs and the SKS is superb now. M416 still needs a recoil nerf though

I've always used DMRs over boltys because I miss lol great to see them get better.
Also I remember one of your first DMR videos way back in FPP days, you got me and my buddy with an SKS whilst we were looting our flare drop. Ita come a long way

you gotta run assault rifles with an smg if you wanna be competitive these days people with gyro can spray you to death before you can even hardly get a bolt action shot on them its ridiculous

That's the problem from the start. All they're doing is sprray and pray, literally no use for dmr due to m416 with 5 or 6x spray. Now we can fight them and can use the sks more often.

great video showing us gun data but i always find that ping in tdm game and or sensitivity settings can change so much how gun performs maybe bushka can show us his sensitivity setting as i know he uses ipad and how much screen he can use as recoil control will be different from device to device

Playing Erangel 2 day's ago for 1st time since update I definitely noticed this. Mini 14 was good but not OP before the update and I would normally drop it for a bolt action...my primary normally being an AR coupled with sniper as secondary...AKM. This combination works well with the dismal ping time's we get here in South Africa. Friday I was beaming with the mini 14 and an 8x! Waiting for device to charge then gonna try out the SKS. Bushka thanks for confirming my suspicion. But now the secret is out....OP will follow shortly.... legend
