Dolly Parton - I Will Always Love You.
The song, "I Will Always Love You" was originally written and recorded in 1973 by American singer-songwriter Dolly Parton.
Her country version of the track was released in 1974 as a single and was written as a farewell to her one-time partner and mentor of seven years, Porter Wagoner, following Parton's decision to pursue a solo career.
Parton's version of "I Will Always Love You" was a commercial success. It reached number one on the Billboard Hot Country
Songs chart twice. It first reached number one in June 1974, and then in October 1982, with her re-recording on the soundtrack of the movie version of The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, making Parton the first singer ever to achieve the number one position twice with the same song.
Whitney Houston recorded her version of the song for the 1992 film The Bodyguard. Her single spent 14 weeks at number one
on the Billboard Hot 100 chart making it one of the best-selling singles of all time. It also holds the record for being the best-selling single by a woman in music history. Houston's version of "I Will Always Love You" re-entered the charts in 2012 after her death, making it the second single ever to reach the top three on the Billboard Hot 100 in separate chart runs. The song has been recorded by many other significant artists including Linda Ronstadt.

Yes who agrees with me Belinda davis in my personal opinion is the most well done soundalike to The late Whitney Houston way better than any other singer ive seen out there performing whitneys hits as if she were her.. i got goosebumps when i first heard belinda do covers of whitneys classic hits... n i think belinda davis should get the role to sing whitneys best iconic hits in a major hollywood. Theatrical bio pic movie of whitney if they ever decide to make one , or a miniseries on bet like they did the bobby brown story... if any upcoming whitney movie ideas or projects to where they need someone to sound like whitney on her cover songs.. she is perfect for a whitney song portrayl dead on n almost close enough to whitneys voice n she has whitneys old skool bout early 90s to mid 1990s vocal range nntone that whitney hsd in that time frame... i think most definitely belinda should be apart of doin a whitney biopic other than that small lifetime channel did where Rnb ssinger deborah cox covered whitneys singing voice.. even tho she did her own tske on whitneys songs pretty good for that lifetime whitney movie... if they make a full whitney life story biopic showin whitneys childhood n up to her death .. belinda in my opinion should get a role cause she is tge best n closest sounding to whitneys vocal range nnstyle i just shocked she even on some speaking words u can here a little bit of 90s whitney although she has an accent
