Today we are making 3 bricks. A 12:1, 10:1 and an 8:1 ratio of native soil mixed with portland cement. We also make a native soil brick with no cement to test the strength of them for our hyperadobe house we will be building in a couple weeks.

I had thought they were to be removed from the mold to harden, allowing air to contact all sides. good luck with your project, i enjoy your videos

So starting from scratch, I’ll need to buy the land, dig a well ….anything else before building starts ? We’ll be doing this about 30 minutes north of Queretaro Mexico.
Thx !

Hi kids!! Am I understanding this right!! Are you going to make the bricks yourself or is there a company that comes in with a machine to make them?? Have a good day

Check out gold wizard and his design for separating rock from soil, I believe you'll find it helpful 😉.
