How to Draw a Person Icon: Adobe Illustrator Tutorial

In this simple Adobe Illustrator CS5 tutorial you'll learn how to quickly make a vector image of a man icon. Drawing Mensch is rather simple you'll see!

You'll also learn three different methods of rounding line ends to make the correct shapes. The purpose of this video is to help beginners make the basic shape of a human persicon that is used on thousands of signs around the world.

In Adobe Illustrator CC there is an additional rounding tool available, but in principle the methods outlined here work just as fast.

Once you learn how to draw a person, you can quickly modify any of the principle joints and change his poses easily.
