How I've Been Using the reMarkable 2 (2023) for 3 Months

I've spent 3 months with reMarkable 2 - a paper tablet that is designed to improve your focus. reMarkable 2 was actually released a few years ago, but it's been updating the software a lot since then, and now it feels like a very different tablet. Many people have difficulties choosing between a tablet like reMarkable or an all-in-one tablet like iPad. While iPad can do anything, it does come with distractions. You may not be able to watch movies or play games on reMarkable, but its ability to create an environment that allows you to concentrate for a long period of time is what makes it worth it.

Hi Shu! i'm very interested in learning more about how you use the device for Morning Pages - how you set it up for that, the template/notebook/folder you use? RM2 has endless scrolling pages, how do you know when you've reached 3? how do you divide the days each day? thanks!

It’s truly disgusting that they charge you $8 just to take your own documents off your own device. Why did you not mention that in your review? How disgraceful business idea that is just trying to rip off the customers? That’s not the same of respect that that’s a sign of abuse.

Can you explain how downloading ebooks work?
I know it supports pdf and EPUFB files however it won't work if they are watermarked which all ebooks are where I buy them from.
How do you use it without removing the watermarking through softwares?

How is your experience to navigate and read website in this device?

I've been using this tablet for a little over 4 months now
and it's been a game changer for me.

I'm constantly writing on it.

I use it to journal, read books, create drawings, and design templates.
I don't mind the lack of colors.
I think sketching is fun on this device. You can transfer it on your computer and do the cleanup and add colors.

Honestly though, the price for what I am getting from it ( esp. improved focus) makes it all worth it.

Just landed me a career with a company I will not name, making plane engines. It’s my first aviation job out of college and there’s lots of things they didn’t teach me in school about these engines due to the fact that school teaches the fundamentals and this career has 10x more technology baked in. That said I can’t take any pictures or devices like an iPad to take any notes because of security risks. And I don’t like actual pen and paper because it gets too cumbersome flipping through pages and stuff. So even though it’s a hefty investment my eyes have been on this for a while now and I feel like now is a good time to chime in for one of these.
