hey Olli! If the repair menu isn't working immediately the two things I do are:
1) Leave the menu open for a few seconds (up to 30 seconds) -- sometimes the server lags and prevents it from loading immediately
2) Go to another less populated station, I prefer HUR L5 but any of them work!\

Giday from Aus, love your videos mate. Also not sure if you know or not but if you 30K and you don't get 30k recovery back in your ship, your ship will actually be stored at you original home location. Just go to the ASOP terminal at that location and if the ship doesn't say retrieve give it a little time. It can take 10mins some times. Oh and your cargo and ship storage will still be intact. What ever you do don't click claim. Keep up the great work mate.

A tip for everyone (who doesn't know already). If you have trouble finding the spaceport in Area 18 like I used to (really sucks when it's foggy). Fly to the Area 18 marker and then take a heading of 270(W). That will head you towards the spaceport.
Also, the Spaceport at New Babbage is SE of the city.

fyi 30k protection works.
if you get a 30k, your ship gets teleported into storage at youre home residence. Dont click claim, just fly to the home location, retrieve it and restore it and the ship and cargo is restored to the point of the 30k

You could run Helium from Humboldt Mines for 100 per SCU with your C2 and make around 285aUEC profit per Unit. U would make around 200k with way less investment (risk). Restock times are also very good.

Did a legal trade run last night in my new C2 and got a decent 50k profit. Problem with the C2 is that most places dont have enough stock to fill the damn thing XD

Few things:
1) You buy at outposts from the buildings with the orange beacon towermabobs.
2) If you're stuck outside and NEED to land, just hover by a hangar door and get impounded.
3) When looking for Riker Spaceport, I tell people to look for the bloody maxipad.

The orange light on the small tower attached to the sale-building shows you where you can buy/sell stuff! :-)
