As a mathematician, i would just change the definition of "inside" and kick the ball

I wonder if we actually compute the angles, speed of ball, wind speed and every other variable, when placing the ball perfectly where we want it to go. To me it just seems natural, as I’ve done it for many years but I do wonder if we compute it in pure mathematics subconsciously!
