Join us for our next Networking Night focusing on Gender Equality. Our event will be bringing together advocates, lawyers, NGOs, entrepreneurs and female leaders to connect and share their projects, strategies and visions for women and the LGBQTI community. Get inspired by our guest speakers while making valuable connections with members of the Phnom Penh community who are passionate about creating a more equal society.

Sponsored by our partner EZECOM, our themed Networking Nights bring together industry leaders, talented graduates, entrepreneurs and similar initiatives over free nibbles and relevant guest speakers. Each Networking event will be different from the last, focusing on different topics and industries while offering you the chance to get inspired, create new ideas, form partnerships and grow your network.

Meet our speakers:
-Chan Kunthea is a long-time activists, development professional and process facilitator. She is working with JASS (Just Associates) Southeast Asia as its Regional Program Coordinator since 2012. JASS is a global feminist organization working in three regions across the globe. Kunthea has a vast experience in coordinating with local groups/NGOs/partners in the Southeast Asian region to empower and promote women’s leadership in the social, political and economic spheres. She has more than 10 years of experience working on women’s rights in Cambodia under her belt as well as at the regional and international levels. Kunthea is the co-founder of CYWEN (Cambodian Young Women’s Empowerment Network)—a group established in 2010 that focuses on empowering young Cambodian women to demand rights. Kunthea served as the Program Coordinator of the Committee to Promote Women in Politics (CPWP) and the staff of SILAKA for 8 years.

- Celia Boyd is a Co-Founder and the Managing Director of SHE Investments, a social enterprise that delivers the only gender-focused and culturally tailored business incubator and accelerator programs for women in Cambodia. Her qualifications and background are in community and international development, and she has managed projects across Cambodia, Australia, Papua New Guinea and Kenya. Since launching in early 2015, SHE has worked with 50 women-led businesses, creating impact through increased incomes for women and families, women’s economic empowerment, and job creation. Celia is also the co-founder and owner of a socially responsible cafe in Phnom Penh, Lot 369, and in 2017 she was named as an Australian-ASEAN Emerging Leader by the Australia-ASEAN Council and Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
