1) 0:10 eating all day - intermittent fasting helps you live longer. Don’t eat 3-4 hours before sleep
2) 1:04 sitting all day - you gotta move your body every day, do it after you eat. Small movement breaks are great
3) 3:38 eating corn (really eating sugar)
4) 4:12 sleeping late/irregular sleep cycles
5) 5:58 eating too much animal protein - eat just 4oz a day - go for grass fed and wild caught animals
6) 7:01 don’t put dairy creamer in your tea or coffee
7) 7:41 eating smoothies or energy bars before working out

I dont eat my first meal til 3pm.. then something light around 6 or 7pm. I need to step up my exercise a bit. I'm not fully disabled but enough where it affects me when I exercise. I do exercises from a chair or in bed.. You just gotta keep moving even if your disabled

Excellent podcast again, Dr. Gundrie with tons of "do-able" knowledge! Thank you very much. Is a fruit smoothie really almost lethal? Because of the fructose that triggers fatty liver, insulin resistance and maybe even worse things? 🤔🤔 Thank you for sharing your gems of knowledge. I found this podcast so helpful; actually it can change your life.

Wow, no wonder people say I look "so young!" I'm 51, I sit a total of 2 hours a day after a long day on my feet. We have a 75 lb Labrador who needs plenty of exercise. I started a big time fasting lifestyle 6 months ago and I've lost 26 lbs and am now 5'2" and 102 lbs with muscle only possible with the surges of growth hormone longer fasts cause. We have a large garden and chickens and I heft 50 lb bags of feed. Got a Bellicon rebounder last year and am bouncing my way to lymphatic health. I might be 51 but people say I look 40...gotta admit I agree, LOL! YAY!!!!

I've actually noticed that eating animal meat with the fat, I don't need as much collagen. I get a rash or peeling on the end of my fingers without collagen. I also have learned that animal meats are loaded with vitamins, eliminating the need for multivitamins. I'm going to guess, though, that eating animal protein without the fat is where the problem lies. Inselin dose spik higher when protein is eaten without the fat and the fat is loaded with vitamins as well. So, cutting back on animal meat might not be a good idea, but moderating it to make sure to get some every day probably is a good idea.

Man I would love to hear a discussion between this guy and Peter Attia on this claim about too much animal protein being bad for your health 🤔

I always had trouble being hungry before working out or being hungry during my workouts. And it really interfered with my training. Hard to focus and the hunger wouldn’t go away. So I used to always eat a pre workout meal and workout an hour later. I have a lot of questions about this and time of day one works out.

Some of us also, simply CAN NOT afford the organically sourced and reared food sources with v limited financial resources, especially here in the uk, as much as it is wished for, and ideally what i /we would like to source, buy, and consume...v good food...generally, expensive...supermarket sourced, and nutritionally poor alternatives...cheaper not cheap, and affordable for most unfortunately...

Walking down stairs is a lot harder on the body, paticularily your knees. Walking up stairs, even slowly, is h more benefical and helps toning muscle, strengthening your core, and is a fantastic cardiovascular excercise. Show us the studies on too much grass-fed animal protein being detrimental and excelerating aging? More specifically how they contribute to insulin resistance? I bet they can be easily disected? Almost all the plant based foods people eat are processed, garbage and loaded with additives and I would bet are way more likely to contribute to insulin sensitivty.

What if I eat and 1 or 2 hours later exercise would that interrupt my digestion?
