The Biggest Problem in EAFC 24: Inconsistent Gameplay

One thing is too noticeable when the bad gameplay occurs is player switching. You literally can't switch to the player who stand in front of the opponents, leaving them unmarked and conceded easy goal. That's frustrating tho.

The best thing you can do for bad gameplay is to go into your games list, pull up options tab for ea fc and click uninstall. I did this yesterday and since then ive had no problems whatsoever. Playing this game on a daily basis makes zero sense and you can do so much more better things with your time. I wish you all a happy new year

I honestly think that in these games where everything seems to go wrong is when EA decides that you have to lose this match.

I’m a 41212(2)Tiki-Taka lover. As a midfielder, my aim while playing is to feel the immersion of "being my favorite players". One thing I’m sure about is that EA FC has the worst passing gameplay on any existing football game. Interesting video! (Gained a sub from🇲🇦)

Sometimes when you experiencing bad gameplay your opponent is having good gameplay, bad gameplay doesn't apply for both at the same time which is crazy, sometimes your player are slow and unresponsive and your opponent team is moving like prime Barcelona 😂 this shit happens all the time, it's so frustrating

You ever face a 71-depth constant pressure tactics in bad gameplay? You might as well forfeit the game because you’re not even getting to the center line

Im an older gamer and have had the misfortune of playing Fifa since 08.

I can tell you that the game changed around fifa 13 and got progressively worse.

Most times the result is determined, im sure you have all had it when you batter someone only for thier AI defenders to block shots, keepers save everything and your passes and shots seem delayed.
Only for your opponent to hump a hopeful ball long which your defender has covered but inexplicably he slows down and his player nicks the ball to score in the 89th minute.

And i recognise (unlike toxic players) when its in my favour too.

A lot of the bad and inconsistent gameplay and bs is there to aid lesser players win more games against the better player in order to maintain their interest in the game.

Ea is only interested in increasing revenue and intentionally manipulate gameplay, nothing will change until they are challenged (as they were back in the pro evo 6 days) by a football game that lowers their gamer base.

This deserves so much more views I’ve never struggled to enjoy a fifa as much as this one even in the worst ones I’ve found ways to play nice attacking football but this year it’s a roll of a dice weather I can play good or not it’s completely out of my control

The whole EA dev team is incompetent. The Frostbite engine is holding the game back. This game can never be fixed.

For a 5 day time period, around 2 weeks ago, the gameplay felt great, everything was so fluid and responsive. But since that period ended, the gameplay has been HORRIBLE. It’s so sad man. I would gladly spend money on the game if the gameplay were enjoyable, but unfortunately it’s just not enjoyable whatsoever.

The fact that EA has never acknowledged it over all these years just shows that it's intentional. It is intentional to make you feel like your players are insufficient, so you go buy and open more packs.

Frustration is central to the business model. Has someone tested player performance consistency over time? Notice how good your cards are when first purchased? You can’t miss. See how they drop off? An empirical study would be useful.

I got the feeling that sometimes ea thinks my opponent needs the win so they let my players move like trucks and my defenders move wrong ways and selecting the wrong players

This happens in career mode too, and it's crazy. There's a clear difference between playing at night than day. At night, like if your team are full of vampires they'll become light and responsive, you'll feel your whole team playing correctly; and dureing the day of course, everyone will feel awful

What’s absolutely insane is this thing isn’t connection related, it’s net code and coding so deep within the game I don’t think they even know how to fix it

I can’t believe people even argue there is no DDA. Just look at how your players behave when you have a good lead, they COMPLETELY stop moving. The amount of last minute goals I’ve conceded in this Fifa alone are more than every Fifa I’ve played before COMBINED. And I’ve been playing since Fifa 11

Why do people not talk abt it? Why do Pros keep mum abt it? They keep talking abt content, SBCs, 71 depth and other stuff bit ignore this fundamental issue. This has been the main reason behind player frustration in this game. Wait, no, there is one thing that is even more infuriating - that is when someone tells you it is a skill issue

Imagine being able to only play during the early hours of the morning or late at night to get the best possible gameplay experience. And holy shit never play at 6pm content.
