The Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine hosted its Annual Open House event on Saturday, April 15, 2023, from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM in Blacksburg. This free event was open to the public and had a range of family-friendly activities, such as animal handling, teddy-bear repair, dog sport & horseshoeing demonstrations, lectures, and more.
The purpose of the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine's Annual Open House event is to offer the public an opportunity to learn more about animal, human and public health, interact with veterinary students and faculty, and experience the college's state-of-the-art facilities. The event is also an opportunity for the college to showcase its educational programs to prospective students and donors. Moreover, the event is an excellent chance for families to have fun and learn together through various family-friendly activities.
