< I just bought my first project car finally also shown in my picture! Lexus is200 love the car to pieces but I need to make it more mechanically sound, replace rear pads and discs and also 2 front ball joints need doing before I start my modification journey! Can’t wait honestly, I’m literally surfing eBay and other mod shops to see what I can do to it! Can’t wait so excited 😆

LOL... Didn't expect that.. Got a celica in march. In red.. Leather interior, sunroof. 18inch wheels and sports exhaust. Only the 140 version. Looks nice and very comfortable to drive. Totally surprised me😂😂

Surely any ve/Audi group car with pd Diesel engine must be a consideration against any of the cars on this list…

Surprised you didn't mention a starlet, sub 1k for both of mine with 44k miles and 73k miles, no rust and easy to modify and turbo, amazing cars to begin working on especially, really simple and bulletproof engines.
I used to own a Celica before my starlets and cupra, I did enjoy it mainly the handling being so low to the ground but its lacking torque no matter the engine variant and it has very limited aftermarket support, especially performance wise, turboing one would cost above 4-5k and its been quite expensive actually to repair, a lot of problems with mine.
Also with the prices of cars nowadays you will struggle to find a 190 Celica for sub 2k unless its over 200k miles and on its death bed....you'll even have to hunt a bit to find a good 140 at that price nowadays. Infact in your videos you show the VVTI Celica's which are the 140hp ones, just shows how stupid the prices of them have went when those exact ones in those condition would sell for sub 1k 2 years ago

100% with you on the supercharger whine. Far superior to a turbo

I’m looking to buy a polo GTI 1.8, it seems the best to modify into a little pocket rocket! Stage 3 needs a is38 turbo preferably.. still doing research on it before I do buy it

What on earth has the owner of the Blue and yellow Fiesta ST thinking it looks a wright t---t the interior my God don't even think my daughter's dozy boyfriend would do that and what he did to a Peugeot 206Gti 180 and a Renault Clio 182 is outrageous and he deserves a prison sentence for his car modifications lol

My brother has had 3 225 BAM TTs at different levels of price, condition and miles and all 3 have been money pits, problem after problem after problem and often hard or expensive to diganose and repair, would not recommend, and they have all been non modified examples

Why don’t you ever mention the Mitsubishi Colt CZT? Literally the perfect project car. 1.5T, 150bhp, light as fuck, bulletproof reliability and I got mine on 75k for only £1450.

I’ve had both the mx5 mk2.5 and the mini R53 and I found that the r53 with its supercharged engine gave a bit more fun although the mx5 definitely is the better car for handling.

Mk1 leon cupra 180's can be bought for less than a grand, plenty of power and tuning options, bought mine for £900 2 years ago and currently on 141k n had the usual age related issues, apart from that it's been a treat, interior takes well to superglue when some trim drops off but I love it 🤙🏻

MX5 nb onwards and rotten chassis rails will cause problems. The Eunos or na did not suffer as much from this. Just saying...

Hey mate, is a Honda Civic a good project car? I've previously asked regarding the Golf GTI MK V and you said it was good, but I brushed it off 'cause VW, and also my dad don't have a high budget

The one I'm looking for is a 2011 model with around 125k miles on the odo and around 4000 pounds (approximate price since I live in the Middle East). The only limitation is that it has a 5 speed auto, as all Civics were sold in the Middle East with the auto.

I’ve just bought a 26 year old range rover p38 that’s done over 165.000 miles for a £1000 I’m going to add a lift kit and many other mods to it.

My father is a doctor who is moving to eu and he wants a family luxury saloon or an suv. If you could make a sub 20k family luxury cars video would be awesome!
