According to a senior official from the Ministry of Manpower, No Objection Certificates in Oman will be removed.
Currently, expatriate workers must possess an NOC to change jobs in Oman, without which they can’t return to the country for 2 years.
The manpower official has said that the rules are being updated and modified to make it more flexible and easier for the labour market as well as to attract investments.
