I have just recently discovered the Sanditon Chronicles. I am completely obsessed with Sanditon and am on my 8th viewing. I totally agree with you that every time I watch an episode I discover something new.

My friends, who have not seen the program, have mentioned they would watch while folding laundry or doing needlepoint. I have stressed that they must watch with full attention or they will miss a great deal as much of the story is told without dialog.

I think that Sidney does deliberately snub Charlotte when he comes out of Trafalgar House.

Georgiana has her black maid with her, in church. Also, Charlotte is not an English Rose. She is a farmer's daughter. She doesn't shade herself from the sun. In this period, a pale complexion was a sign of wealth.

I wonder....is Arthur gay? A confirmed bachelor doesn't necessarily have to be gay. His relationship with Georgiana reminds me of those platonic friendships between women and a gay men.
