a short film documenting my 7 hour commune with nature... I ran out of space on my camera about a 1/3rd of my way up.
I hiked up Platteklip Gorge, across the Table Top, down into echo valley, across Jan Smuts trail to Skeleton Gorge. I joined the Kirstenbosch to Newlands, Newlands to Rhodes Memorial contour trail, then rounded back through Devil's Peak Reserve rejoining civilization at Vredehoek... i then walked through the city to my Hotel in Greenpoint. What a day!
This song is a South African ditty that was played many a time whilst exploring the Western Cape with Ri-han, an amazing friend with a huge heart.
