Yummy!!! Where’s the barbecue chicken marinated in soy sauce, lemon, garlic & pepper. The steam rice! And, the cut up tomatoes, ginger, green onions, with a splash of patis? Let’s eat!!

I just made chicken afritada!! I forgot to buy tomato sauce. A friend provided me some of their garden tomatoes! Ahh, I took the blender out pureed the tomatoes!! Voila, instant fresh tomato sauce without the preservatives!! It was a hit for my American family friends! ♥️

With the degradation of the world it’s so nice to see your family so close!!!!

Ours are finally ripening too! Quick tip if it’s starting to get too cold/wet for your tomato plants but they still have green tomatoes: Pick them and put them into an egg carton then put it in a dark place. They’ll ripen on their own!

I had a tomato plant at my old place, plan on planting herbs I use often and 1 or 2 tomato plants on my balcony that gets lots of sun.

My mom always talks about how they ate warm (from the sun) tomatoes with sugar when she was a kid.
My daughter already eats tomatoes as if they where candy so I don’t think we need to add sugar 😂
But it’s a fond food memory of hers and I always wondered what it would taste like.

My dog Heather love tomatoes. Whenever I'd take her out to potty she'd go over to the tomato plants in our backyard and eat the cherry tomatoes that fell off the vine.😊❤️🍅

And nothing smells better than a garden tomato which smells like...a tomato.

Store-bought tomatoes are refridgerated and once you put them in the fridge they lose smell and a lot of their taste.
