Truth be told, I'm still waiting for mine to arrive in the mail from Samsung for 3 weeks so far. While I'm waiting, I heard your review of the mic quality and felt my knees wobble for a minute. I'm thinking about plan B returning them and perhaps getting my refund after the new year. lol. Ive said this in a previous video but, i think if Samsung made these earbuds a hybrid and you can detach the stem with magnets and it acts a extra battery with a better mic that would be cool so people can choose what form they want.
It can be stemless or it can have a stem with the benenfit of a better audio and battery life.
Thats actually quite a good patent.
Also if you want to make sure that no-one watching one of your earlier videos get confused, you should probably pin a comment on those videos. Great video though, thanks for actually going back to this and listening to your viewers👌👍

I will say, I personally don't think you lied to us, you just reported the conclusions you had come to at that particular point. That being said, as others have said, it's cool that you took a deeper dive into the buds after reading the comments. Much respect. Take a subscription :)

Hopefully Samsung will continue improving the mics in these earbuds so the person wearing them sounds less robotic. I would also like to see in the future they give us the option to use the mic settings outside of phone calls; I think that has great potential and could even be better since it doesn't have the limitations of what calls would have. I'm upgrading from the original Buds Pro because I don't like how they fit in my ear so I find myself fidgeting with them alot.

Using the Buds 3 in combination with my Samsung Galaxy s21FE (Snapdragon 888) smartphone; this device does not support 24bit audio at this moment, hopefully it does in the future. But the soundquality is in my opinion already absolute briljant! Party-time🎉

There is a app called "mic test" by laureano that records samples as they would be on a phone call.

One thing I've learned abt product reviews on YT, especially the very early "reviews" that reviewers make to put out there just to get views, is to be very skeptical abt what they say and what they're critical abt.

Sometimes ppl say things that aren't true just to fill in their scripts and for some reason, there's always something not right with said product. So it's best to be skeptical and base buying decision solely on one type of review(from content creator)

I just saw this video. I got my Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 3's a couple of days ago, and have been testing everything with them. From phone calls to listening to some really good Prince tunes, to listening to the amazing jazz of John Coltrane. I'm not a big fan of stems, but these are some really good earphones. I had no mic issues, and the sound clarity has been very good. You did an amazing thing by setting the record straight and it's one of the things that we hardly see from others who are too arrogant to admit a mistake. I take it as a sign of growth. You have earned my respect sir!

Samsung just released the latest One UI 6.1.1 update for S24U, and it supports 96kHz audio sampling (UHQ) on the new Buds 3 Pro. The sound quality is amazing, a massive improvement over 44.1khz.

I should say that even now is kind of weird that depending of what your using like a different app to record your voice instead of a call, the mic quality should be as good as when you are on a call and not that good or noisy when using an app, and the rest of earbuds are consitent on that so I would still go for the OP Buds 3 Pro for example.

Honestly the more I think about it, it's not really your fault because all brand earbuds you've tested didn't have an issue canceling out noise when you record a regular audio so why should you have to accommodate one company like Samsung just because they don't automatically enable NC when recording a regular voice audio. Samsung should have an option to either toggle noise cancelation or have them automatically enabled at all times especially when recording a regular audio from the mic not just through phone calls.
