Heavy rainfall has wreaked havoc in Western India. In Gujarat, it has caused severe flooding in at least seven districts affecting more than one million people. At least 69 people have lost their lives in the last 12 days. Roads are inundated, homes are flooded and life has come to a grinding halt.
