I remember playing with the Diamond And Pearl sticker customization way too much. Having your pokemon pop out of a ball with the words "COOL" and too many sparkles was funny.

The stickers you could add to your Pokeballs in DPPt for custom animations were underrated af, I remember customizing bespoke animations for all of my main team members before the E4, it was awesome

To elaborate a bit more on the square vs. star shinies, here’s the odds on Pokémon having them in Sword and Shield:

If caught in Gen 3, 4, or 5, the odds are 1/8 for square and 7/8 for star.

If caught in *specifically* the wild in Gen 8, the odds are 1/4369 for star sparkles, otherwise it’s square.

If caught in any other generation or outside of the wild in Gen 8 (like through an egg, a gift or a Max Raid), the odds are 1/16 for square and 15/16 for star.

If caught in the Max Lair, it’ll always be stars.

If caught/obtained in an event or transferred from GO, it’ll always be squares.

And whatever sparkles it gets in Sword/Shield will stay that way, even if they’re not visibly different if transferred to another game. So a square shiny transferred to PLA and then back to Sword and Shield will still be square.

By the way, the N effect includes his Zorua that you get in B2W2 Driftveil because it has him as the OT.

The only problem is that you won’t see the effect if you send out the Zorua/Zoroark and it activates Illusion (meaning it has to be in the last slot of the party for you to see the N effect).

I genuinely love the timer ball particle effect, I have it on all remotely time themed pokemon from legendaries to paradoxes

It's so funny the Arceus at Pokéstar Studios because i did this with Arceus one day, Arceus used Flamethrower at the poor human actor. 😂
Also, i managed to have the special ORAS ribbon animation with a Turtwig i specially used for Contests.
