It depends, if the traffic is heavy I like using the standard no frills cruise control. If traffic is light I use the adaptive cruise control with lane assist. Mostly because I don’t like following other drivers that fluctuate speed so I let the adaptive cruse control adjust speed and distance.

We've got the same camry nice! We'll everything except the interior I got the black interior but same xse awd. What kinda gas mileage are you getting?

What if someone is merging into your lane? Will it slow down? Or when u have to turn lane? Sorry this is my first time using adaptive and thank you for so much info on it

is there anyway to turn off both? this is my first car so i’m kinda confused on what to do

I just have a complaint that the adaptive is the first choice in the mode. It should be the second choice.
