Thanks Andrew for the great review, as always, highlighting all the factors which matter most. I picked it up from Lenovo eBay Store 2 months ago, at at a superb price of $750 for i7/16GB/512gb version. Chosen this over Yoga 7i and 9i due far superior port selection, integrated pen and price. This actually has better cooling than Yoga 9i due to bigger fan and dual heat pipe design and the cpu performing better in longer running workloads. I used the Lenovo performance mode from their Vantage software.

Thank you Andrew. Bought one with i7-1165G7 + 16GB Ram in late January when it was on sale for $950 USD. Excellent port selection. Expandable RAM and SSD. Very happy with the purchase.

Expandable RAM, 2 in 1, garaged pen, decent display ... good selection of ports; it has everything I need, at good price, I think it's a best buy

Great review, Thanks.
Personally, I am waiting for the Great Grail of this year's Lenovo Thinkbook 14p.
I need QHD and 32GB Ram. The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Pro was very close to perfection.

FYI.. this laptop comes with a defaulted option in the BIOS which priors cpu cooling over performance. You can select the high performance option to improve benchmark results.

Good PC for average users. Camera and microphone are typical of most PCs out there. Sound and picture quality of them are fair to okay but as you say will get the job done. Like the easy access to open it up to do upgrades. Good flexability on upgrades. Nice port selection. Like the way the rechargeable pen can be stored and charged in this unit. Great review as always.

Very nice review. Too bad there aren't many 17" laptops anymore

Great video! Btw, do you notice the different font size at the summary (11:10) ?. The third line from the top has a smaller font compared to the rest :D

Was waiting for my Andrew review and was not sure when it was coming out so I bought one yesterday via Lenovo store i7 with 16 MB of RAM and mineral gray (did not go for abbys blue because I heard and confirm by andrew it is a finger magnet).

Decided for this, as it is expandable memory with second slit ssd. It will be used for my university study of Data Science. Coming from a surface pro 3 with little RAM and SSD space and easily running out of resources, the main reason why I bought this lenovo.

A bit concerned now that Andrew considers having a mediocre performance, once I work with files with ++ Gigabyte volume size...

Hi, I got one of those for my work but returned it for 2 reasons:
1. The screen was yellowish. I compared it with the screen of my phone, and there was a huge difference in terms of screen color. The eye care mode was turned off. I tried some fixing methods but they didn't help. Also, the viewing angle was poor, especially when I was looking from the top side.
2. The left side of the touchpad was too loose. It was loudly clicking when I was touching it. The right side seemed to be okay.
I'd like to ask, if you experienced these problems as well, or it was just my unit ? Any other issues ?

Just FYI from experience with my L380 Yoga the pen will crap out within the 1st 3 years. Combined with my Flex 5's digitizer failing TWICE in a row, I wouldn't buy Lenovo if the touch screen is going to be your biggest use case. I got the Flex 5 fixed under warranty (took a month from request to fulfillment) the 1st failure; the 2nd I just can't be bothered. I replaced my L380's pen with a Wacom Bamboo.

So why buy ThinkPad? 1) Best pro notebook value for money 2) Most aggressive driver and firmware security patching in the industry. Blows everyone else out of the water.

What do you mean with "semi-glossy" display? Is it a glossy display with anti-glare treatment like the X1 Carbon or the XPS?

Great review but.... Hmm. What are the altenatives for the pen then?

Hi Andrew, which one would you buy at same price: this Yoga 14s or Dell Latitude 7400 2in1 (2019)? I think Yoga is better, but I like more Latitude aesthetically...

In a few days I will receive...which Wacom pens are compatible with this equipment?

Hi Andrew, first of all thanks for your reviews. All are amazing and complete, I love the fact you open the laptop to check if are upgradable or not. I just bought this laptop from Lenovo and I would like to ad in the second slot a 1TB SSD M.2 Gen 4. Will it work or it's not compatible?
Thank you in advance for your reply.
