Great video I had a model y on order and could have taken delivery in 2021. I declined once I put in my rivian r1S order in Jan 21. I should get my R1S within the next few months. The model Y was too small, I have have two children and needed a real 7 seater. Great video.

Saying the R1S is not competing with the any Tesla models is very much a misnomer. The R1S competes directly with the Model X but is much more capable and about $25K less. The one advantage Tesla has is the SCN. Great vid!

Hi again Nuke. So did you get pushed back? Do you have an estimate date range? I'm so new I have no estimate. 🤣🤣
The Rivian is for me but my wife also news a new vehicle. We've kind of stumbled upon the Tesla RWD M3. I didn't realize it was priced in the mid-high 40ks. That is actually price competitive to other EVs. Can you believe the Kia Niro EV top trim is $47k MSRP but most dealers want $5k dealer markup for it. Which actually makes it more expensive than the M3 RWD. That just blew me away. We weren't consider the M3 at all before -- as I've said before, I really dislike how low ground clearance the M3 is -- but at 47K with no mark up, it's actually quite competitive.

I had a question for you. What do you think are the chances of the RWD M3 qualifying for tax credit next year? They should in theory except the current versions are built with LFP batteries which should be made in China with component also from China. Would that prevent the RWD M3 from being able to take the tax credit? Thoughts?
