The Series S is essentially the Series X but targeted to gamers who:
1. Don't care about 4K gaming.
2. Don't care about physical media.
3. Want to spend as little money as possible on the hardware.
4. Want a more portable console.

Storage is a problem no matter which console you get (Series S, X or PS5). However, you do NOT need to buy the expansion storage for the Series S. Instead, buy a regular, external hard drive and store your game library on it. You can then copy games to the internal storage when you want to play them if they are next gen games or optimized games. All other games can be played off the external storage. You can even use an external SSD and benefit from faster load times for some unoptimized games.

I have the Series X and 4TB of games that I've carried over from the Xbox One. All I did was unplug the external HDD from my Xbox One and connected it to my Series X and I was up and running. Optimized games, like Destiny 2, will need to be updated before you can play them.

The Series S is a very capable console. We'll have to see if third party devs make an effort to truly optimize their games for it. Devs will take the path of least resistance when developing a game if given the option. Right now the path of least resistance is the PS5, then Series X then Series S.

Por que le pones dos masetas encima a la consola?
obstruyes una importante toma de aire.

Why do you put two pots on the top of the console?
you block an important air intake.

Yes . .... yes the series s feels next jen I respect people's opinions but its kinda annoying hearing people say the series s is not next jen ... there's no true next jen games out yet 🤷‍♂️ for now apart from 4k honestly the series s and x are not that far apart... for now anyway but I would get a series x just to be safe because when next jen games come it might be a different story.
