Brazil vs Germany 2014 | World Cup 2014 | Brick-by-brick

Показать описание
When Brazil and Germany kicked off the first of the World Cup 2014 semi-finals, most of us were expecting a tight game. It finished Brazil 1-7 Germany with the Brazilian team and fans looking like they didn't know what had hit them.
Brazil were without their suspended captain, Thiago Silva, and superstar striker Neymar, who fractured a vertebrae in his back against Colombia.
Miroslav Klose replaced Ronaldo as the top scorer ever at the World Cup with goals from Toni Kroos, Thomas Müller and André Schürrle. Oscar pulled one back for Brazil but the defence had disappeared, with captain for the day, David Luiz, going walkabout and Maicon, Marcelo, Dante and goalkeeper Julio César looking lost. This was one of the most amazing results in sporting history, let alone just in World Cups. Luiz Felipe Scolari said it was the worst day of his life. Many Brazilians would probably agree.
