Fun fact: in the early 1980s, John Elway (still widely considered to have the strongest arm in NFL history) threw so hard that the Broncos had to get Jugs Corporation-- makers of the machine in this video--to specially modify their product for Broncos receivers. When receivers would come inside, several either had broken fingers, a cross shaped bruise on their chests, or both after a day of catching #7's missile balls.

When I was in college I lived in the same apartment complex as Daunte Culpepper and a couple mutual friends introduced us and we were throwing the football around. I had previously played and practiced as a high school receiver for 3 years and was decent at catching the ball, but Daunte's passes were on a whole other level. Straight as an arrow and perfect spin. I had to stop after 5 or 6 catches because of the pain. I remember seeing his 70 yard pass to a wide open Randy Moss. He was a truly great athlete.
